Experience: 1-3 years
Skill Set:

Assumed Quality Assurance role with manual and automated software testing, including functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing related to Software applications.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes
Expertise in at least one scripting language (e.g.: UNIX shell, Perl, Python).
Experience with User Interface test automation (e.g.: QTP,SWTBot) would be considered as an advantage
Experience in working with at least one database (e.g.: Oracle, MySQL) and SQL.
Experience in working in a multi-geography team setup is desirable

You will be expected to verify and validate software deliveries, follow testing procedures and prepare test reports.
You would be required to participate in various testing phases and testing types and to own test approach and design
You are expected to have an exposure to estimation methodologies and should be able to provide effective inputs for the purpose to your leads
You are expected to be technology oriented, with a special focus on testing techniques and associated technical nuances
You will be expected to Design, Develop, Document, Execute and Maintain test cases and scripts to ensure that the projects deliverables meet the project requirements and product specifications.
Should have a sound knowledge about the OOPS concepts and its implementation.
